Organic Growth Process

Netting House: the netting enables, on the one hand, to prevent the infiltration of fruit insects into the lots; on the other hand, it allows a controlled introduction of natural enemies against foliage pests that penetrate the trees.
Moreover, the netting has special optical qualities – as a result, the plantation gets maximal spreading of sunlight.

Soil Covering: The soil covering prevents the emergence of herbarium next to the tree, preserves the soil's moistness, which in turn reduces the need for intensive irrigation. The soil covering also causes an upwards light return which improves the assimilation processes in the foliage, and adds sparkle and deepness to the fruit's color.

Fruit Pocketing
Another method used for protecting the fruit against insects and sunstrokes is pocketing the pomegranate in a nylon stocking. The stocking stretches and enlarges as the fruit grows, while protecting the fruit against insect stings and sunstrokes that may sometimes occur on the fruit's skin.
Natural Means of Pest Control ("beneficial insects"):
We use natural enemies to fight the Aphid in the fruit tree plantations. The most known natural enemy is the Aphidius colemani. It is rather a small bee (the size of a small mosquito) which lays its egg in the aphid by penetrating its narrow trunk. In the aphid the beesegg develop and eventually kills the aphid turning it into a mummy. The mummies can be seen on the leaves. From the mummies the little bees emerge and a new life cycle of natural enemies begin.

Biofeed Traps Biofed traps enable us to fight against the  Ceratitis capitata without hurting the natural enemies and without spraying our ftrees and its fruits.
Monitoring Traps
Once a week, approximately, we count the flies in the traps to get an estimation of their numbers and accordingly we decide on how many biofed traps we should put.
Wild Flowers
We put a lot of effort in enhancing the presence of as many natural enemies as possible in the fruit tree plantation. planting Wild flowers between the fruit tree lines attract many sorts of bugs to the organic plantation. The wild flowers provide the bugs with  a place to hide and supply the honey they need in order to survive and thrive.

Pomegranates before the Picking:
Species: Wonderful; month: October
The fruit is spread homogonously on the tree branches, is of a high quality: ready for picking.
Workers at Fruit-Picking
Selection and Storage Methods
The picked fruit undergoes a first selection into 6 dividers in a large plastic container. The fruit is put into a special bag (modified atmosphere M.A), which keeps its freshness for a long time - up to 4 months. (No need to use any additional protection substance against fungi and molds.)
Packaging and Marketing
A pomegranate in an export tray (4/5 k.) is ready for marketing. The pomegranate undergoes a selection by the following criteria: size = quantity (6-28 pomegranates per tray), external quality: class 1, class 2.
The pomegranates, following a strict selection, are put back into a modified humidity breathable packaging, in order to arrive at the end user with a quality as close to the quality at the picking time
